The CT-CHD Conventional Electronic Heat Detector incorporates both rate of rise and fixed temperature detection. The thermistor measures the air temperature it draws in and transmits a signal that reflects this temperature to the control board. If the temperature reaches or exceeds the trip point, the detector activates. The status LED lights up in red, and the alarm signal is triggered.
